- GentleBen | Roseville Community
Gentle Ben Gentle Ben is a confident, friendly, social, short hair, glossy black kitten about 6 months old and ready for adoption right now! Gentle Ben wants to be where the action is! He loves to "help" his humans with tasks and loves to be snuggled and carried around! Gentle Ben has lived with a big dog and gets along well with other cats. He loves people, even brand new people that he's just meeting for the first time! Gentle Ben is also very active and he loves toys and treats! Gentle Ben came from a litter of five boys who were abandoned at a vacant house. Thankfully, a real estate agent found them and bought them to our rescue when they were only about 4 weeks old. Because they have been in human hands since then, the brothers are all very well socialized! Gentle Ben would love to be adopted by himself or with one of his brothers, Yogi and Boo Boo! Gentle Ben has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and his brother tested negative for FIV and leukemia. - Apollo | Roseville Community
Apollo Apollo is charming, FIV+, and ready for adoption right now! Apollo is a handsome tabby about 2 to 3 years old. He is confident, affectionate, easy going and adorable! Apollo gets along with other cats, but also he would be fine as an only cat. For sure, he wants to have some cuddle time and some play time with you every day! Apollo likes to know what's going on. He makes friends easily, and he will greet your guests at the door! Apollo has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested positive for FIV, unfortunately, which is a cat disease that affects the immune system. It is transmitted between cats most often through very deep, bloody bite wounds, but not through normal play nor sharing bowls or litter boxes. Shelters often adopt out FIV+ cats that are otherwise healthy. With an indoor, relatively stress-free environment, FIV+ cats can live normal healthy lives. Apollo has a really special personality! He had it rough when he was out on his own, but he is a sweet boy and he is a lover, not a fighter! He will love his family and don't be surprised if your friends visit more often now that Apollo's in the house! - Choo Choo | Roseville Community
Choo Choo Choo Choo is a 7 month old all black boy, ready for adoption right now! He would love to be adopted with his brother, Chugga Chugga, but also they can be adopted separately. Choo Choo is a very laid back, easy going cat. He likes to nap and cuddle. He likes to play for a little bit, but then he's done and he just wants to sit on the sofa, eat snacks and watch TV! Choo Choo and Chugga Chugga had a pretty scary start to life. They were very sick, with eyes crusted shut, running through traffic! They were saved by a very kind and brave Uber driver, who brought them to our rescue. They needed a LOT of medical care for their upper respiratory infection. Choo Choo, in particular, had to see an eye specialist because we were afraid he would have permanent damage. In the end, both kittens were very strong and are doing great now! Choo Choo has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and Leukemia. - About | Roseville Community
About Us Roseville Community Cat Coalition Founded in 2021, RCCC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Roseville California. Our goal is to help provide the best possible outcomes for all the homeless abandoned and feral cats in Roseville and surrounding communities. We work together with local colony caregivers and like-minded organizations to support "TNR" (Trap-Neuter-Return) for community cats. We rescue lost or abandoned, tame cats and kittens. If we are unable to locate and reunite them with their owners, we adopt them into loving homes. Our Value Why We’re Different Our adoptable cats and kittens are all local rescues. Each of our adoptable cats are fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. We have a team of dedicated volunteers to help each cat feel safe and loved. Through play, petting and lots of treats, we work to increase the confidence of these rescue cats, socializing them until they are ready to join a loving family. When you adopt from us or support our work, you become part of the team of special people who are providing the best possible outcomes for these precious cats. Our Approach Our approach is centered around Trap Neuter Return (TNR), a humane and effective method of managing and reducing the number of homeless cats. By trapping feral cats, spaying or neutering them, and then returning them to their colonies, we prevent the birth of future kittens and help maintain healthy cat colonies. For those cats that are friendly and adoptable, we provide foster care in loving homes until we can match them with their forever families Airplane Our Mission To support the best possible lives for community cats in or near Roseville California by assisting with basic care, Trap Neuter Return, and if possible, reunification or adoption services.
